Will paced the length of the lush green field hoping that Claire could follow the directions he gave her. This was a different date of sorts, he certainly didn't go around showing every girl he met how to use a sword but Claire was different, he really liked just being around her. To say Claire was excited about this date was a slight understatement. It wasn't every day she met a guy like Will. She followed his directions easily, a basket of food packed and placed in the passenger seat of the van. Knowing he was going to be giving her sword lessons after lunch, she dressed casually in a pair of jeans and a cute-yet-casual red top.

Arriving at the field, Claire parked and walked the rest of the way, basket in hand. She greeted Will with a wave, grinning brightly. "I hope you haven't been waiting long," she called out to him.

Will stood up and brushed himself off, smiling at her "No, not too long at all." He walked over to her and placed a light kiss on her forehead "I'm really glad you made it. So which first do you think? Food or a little workout?"

She smiled at the kiss, sighing quietly as she thought it over for a moment. Then she set the basket down. "It's probably best you teach me some stuff first. That way we can relax and eat lunch afterward."

"Alright then." Will smiled and walked over, taking the swords out of the bag. He held one up for her "Made of wood so you don't accidently cut something off, lightweight and durable. If you get good..."

He picked up one of the other swords, from the look of it it was ancient metal work with Greek symbols incribed on it. "We move up to the big leagues."
