It's interesting to get an alert notifying me that I haven't posted in a while. Well, it's because I came home to hell week of a show I got roped into as the pit conductor, and that was followed by two weekends of performing it. Today's the last performance, so hopefully starting tomorrow I'll have more time. I'll try to start updating the ( Read more... )

My mom's going to try to help regulate my sleep schedule starting on Monday (or whenever she stops being sick), so hopefully that'll improve things. =P I need to stop staying up till four in the morning. Apparently my body isn't too thrilled with me.

How was the concert? Did the pianists behave?

I hope your sleeping problems settle down soon. :/ Do you take any medication for it? I am on some and it helps me, sometimes.

The problem is mainly psychological - I want to roleplay with Ana, Ana stays up late, I stay up late. xD And then it's surprisingly hard getting to sleep when I've been up late.

The performance went much better today than Thursday as far as the pianist goes - he jazzed it up a little, but it wasn't ridiculous. xD

Ah, yes, reasons to stay up late are always bad for sleeping. =) Computers actually make it harder to sleep (the light strains our eyes and lessens the amount of melatonin - the chemical that makes us feel sleepy - that we make), so staying up late on them is especially bad.

I know all this yet still I do it...

Oh, lol. What a guy. xD I'm glad he behaved better towards the end, at least. Are you glad you did it?

I'm fairly glad I did it, but I'd rather not do a pit again (at least not as the conductor). It just didn't really feel right. I kept wanting to be playing. xD
