I know this is weird but...
There are certain letter combinations at the ends of words that I really don't like to look at:
- eh
- ae (I don't like this one in the middle of words either.)
- os
For example, I can't stand the words "bokeh" or "Shabbos", while "Shabbat" is a perfectly lovely word.
I can't explain this.

Hm.

Alumnae and eros are okay, perhaps because of their meanings. Tempeh is still problematic. I really have trouble when I see "Tovah Feldshuh" in print, but Torah is great.
Orthopaedic - ugh. I know it's British but still.

I have no explanation for the 'ae' diphthong aversion, as I do not share it.
