Surgery

My surgery was yesterday, and I am doing pretty good. I can't complain too much. Thanks for the slurpee last night Amy!

When I got there, at 8:30am, they took me back to the pre-op room, then I waited to go into surgery, which was supposed to be at 9:30am because they had changed it once to from 1:30pm to 9:30am. The nurse got all this info from me

Yay! I'm so glad it went alright! Hopefully it heals fully, and not painfully. That would suck >.<

Thanks, me too. I know. I haven't had much pain, so I don't really see it being a problem. It was all done endoscopically, so no cuts were ever made.

Yea, I got popsicles! When I woke up my throat was itchy, so they were giving me ice chips and the nurse was like when you get to the next room, ask them for a popsicle, so I did. And, she gave me one for the road home too! yay! lol

"Thats chill too" I never expected that to come out of your mouth. Lol. I am glad it went okay and that you didn't freak out with them making you wait forever. That is the world of medicine. How are you feeling today?

lol. Not a phrase that I use too often. Mind you I was coming off high dose medicine when writing that. No, didn't freak out. I think it actually made me calm down a bit because I was freaked out at first. I so didn't want to go under even though I trust my doctor. The only thing that really was in issue was the IV, and of course my viens spasmed a little, but it was all good. I'm doing alright. It hasn't been my best day since I've been home. A little out of it.
