Happy 2012, flist! A little late, yes, but better late than never, I hope. I hope your year started well and I wish you the best for the coming year.

For me, 2012's started out decently.

I'm doing the 50bookchallenge again and progress has been good so far - I've managed to not get too far ahead of myself in terms of books read versus reviews written and posted

I was reading this entry, and my eyes wandered to your icon, then back to reading, then back to your icon, and I thought, "They look familiar." Back to reading, then back to the icon ... "They look like Reed and Trip. Do I know anyone who would use an Enterprise icon?" Back to reading. Back to icon. "Wait a second! Aren't I reading right now the journal of my friend who likes Star Trek?"

I think I was just thrown by Enterprise. I don't see Enterprise icons anywhere else, and it's extremely rare I see any kind of Star Trek. It would be pretty hard to forget you, so don't worry about that!
