Reading your post though makes me very very very proud of & happy for you!
you know..its the hardest thing you will ever do...giving up on your first love...but you have to know that deep down, you aren't happy, and that the right guy will come around and that "he" won't make you feel like those other guys did. i look at my friend who just went through the same thing...her boyfriend was so rude to her...and well..they broke up and now she found a guy that truly cares about her and would do anything for her...and i look at them and think..i deserve that. so its just a matter of time that you have to find it within yourself and say "you know, i need better than this..and he is out there". it may take time to find him..but i think he'll be worth the wait.

Well here's the thing.. I already lost what I thought was my first "real" love. My heart truly felt like it was physically breaking when that happened. We'd dated for just shy of two years. We'd talked about marriage plans, everything. We were in it together. But then after it fell apart, I did get over it. I knew I deserved someone more on my terms, my life, my level..interests, etc. And I dated a few others. Got my heart slightly broken again, but then turned it around because that guy was a selfish asshole who cheated on me, so I used that as ammo to fuel my fire and I moved on, again

becky!!! i'm so sorry i couldn't make it to your birthday party. i really wanted to see you. i had this dance recital this week and tuesday night i had to be at the studio getting shit together until like, 10 (i'd been there since 4) and i was exhausted as hell. but i talked to raul, and he said it was one hell of a party, so i hope you had a good time!! <3
