That totally sucks. For the record, you should have gotten a notice from PennDOT a month or so prior to your registration expiring that would have told you what you needed to do. But, if your parents address is on file (even if it's in your name) that's where it would go. So maybe that's where part of the problem was? You should also be able to renew the registration (even if it's expired) online. If you get a Sunday paper, or coupon books in the mail, there's usually coupons for inspections at different places ( ... )

Wow.
I really need to check your blog more often.
Something that I am aware of is that you can actually drive your car as long as you a) have a license- you need to get that mess sorted first and b) you are taking it to get registered and inspected. If necessary just "let them know" that you just moved and this is the first opportunity you've had to accomplish these things. Also, that you are a veteran...and a volunteer firefighter...and on your way to deliver a baby (stuffing nate under your shirt might be necessary)...or that it is your BIRTHDAY.

That was a difficult segway, but seriously...please...try to have a happy birthday today
