Remember when I mentioned I was getting an El Camino? My Dad was in L.A. and took some assessment pictures of it, so I would know what I'm getting myself into. Here they are.
yeps, major as in there aren't enough sanding disks or bondo containers on the planet to cure what ails that.... and if the outside is that bad off, and the floorboards too if you look at the inside pix, then I'm almost certain that the frame is basically worthless also... hate to say it but it looks like you're going to have to scrap most of the body... you know I'm all about fixing up cars, but this is one helluva project that I think is a whole lot more than you are looking at... double that considering I am assuming that either you took about two years of mechanics classes in body shop and engine rebuilding that I don't know about, or your dad will be the one doing the lions share of the work, learn from my mistakes (you can't do that kind of work in your driveway... perhaps your parents garage, but when it comes down to lifting the body off the frame, which with that much rust you will almost certainly have to do, you won't be able to do it...)
with all that in mind, since I know you're going to do it anyway, good luck =)
