you can't really compare both, they are two seperate genres.
I love at the drive-in more than the mars volta and sparta.
sparta was the only one to stick to the at the drive-in sound.
I already got bored of the mars volta.

atdi for life. i don't really like sparta that much, they sound cheesy to me, i love the mars volta, but i don't take them so seriously,... like..i know they are cheesy as hell too.

yeah atd-i is brutal.
it got to the point where I was just too bored of the mars volta, and everybody talking about how dope they are, made it worst.
sparta is brutal, they are the ones that loved at the drive-in more than life!
and since the lead guitarist left to join the mars volta, they got a new guitarist and they are sounding all brutal.
they remind me more of atd-i than the mars volta.
