It's the second day of the new year. All has been well thus far. Today was the blasted day of Christmas removal. Out with lights and trees! Now in my shrunken cowboy shirt; I'm hiding out in my den listening to Amnesiac and previewing the great artwork of Aaron Burtch

my favorite memory of the night was when my friend katrina made a comment about somebody's room smelling like kendall francois's house. this may not make sense to anyone outside of the poughkeepsie area but to those that know, it's extremely hilarious.

kendall francois was a hall monitor at a middle school and he kept the dead bodies of five hookers in his attic for quite some time.

- having a beer drinking contest with my western civ professor in a bar called "amsterdamned."
- buying champagne from a man on the street who was later arrested for his booze-selling antics.
- being lit on fire by a dutch man with a strange sense of humor.
- arguing with my turkish cab-driver over whether his mercedes could drive over the 3ft-tall flaming pile of clothing and bricks in the street. no sir, no.
- remembering not to call my friends at 6am US time because it's not friendly.
