It's a Monday night which means, you guessed it -
I...really liked this.
I'm sure if I had a maternal bone in my body, I would have been really upset at the end.
My main reaction, though?
TED!!!!!
Seriously? That was so sweet and brilliant!
I thought Robin's reaction was pretty spot-on. It's one thing to know you don't want something, that you cannot fathom a time when you will want it - but to be told that it's absolutely out of the realm of possibility?
I LOVED Robin and Barney's reaction in the doctor's office. And they were cracking me up during the first scene in the baby store, what with 'My four inch nipples are going to crack and bleed!' and 'Yeah, but when the baby's gnawing on your bleeding nips, look what she'll be wearing!'
Hahahaha. I'm sorry, but that made me laugh so hard. And Robin shooting herself with the scan gun thing?
Word, sister friend.
But really, it was all about Ted at the end there. That was so perfect and sweet and...TED.
Marshall 'Mr. E' Erickson was also a particular delight this evening. 'One time, when my parents were out of town, my brothers and I set the basement on fire, hosting an amateur wrestling exhibition. There were...some theatrics.' Ha!
And now for the crazy 'shipper stuff.
Ahem.
If Barney and Robin do not end up together, I will CUT A BITCH.
And hearing Craig Thomas say things like, 'Barney and Robin are the third rail of the show' does nothing to soothe my fears.
Again - CUT A BITCH.
In other news, I have been having a several-day long discussion with my friend about our favorite holiday songs. I think I have my top five almost narrowed down.
She had also never heard 'Fairytale of New York' so I got to introduce her!
I'm also compulsively rereading Hunger Games.
I didn't think there was a way to love Peeta more, yet - I love him more with every go-round.
