No, thank YOU! You've been feeding my Chase habit incredibly well. I haven't commented nearly enough because I'm actually many entries behind in my reading (something to do with spending all my time writing, maybe?). I can't even write lame stuff that fast, much less the high quality you manage. Wow.

I'm glad my humble effort works for you. I get the sense that you and I have some similar views on the characters, so I'm flattered that you like this!

Oh, so happy to see an update. Great chapter, really promising. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Is it just for me, or did LJ swallow a few words of text? This is what I see:

“Ugh. Your image is much worse than mine. And under normal circumstances, I’d figure you were right. The strangest part of this is…” Wilson stopped for a moment. “Not to betray any confidences, but he likes you. He wants you to like him. And he just doesn’t have a clue how to make that happen.”

Dang it, LJ! You are indeed correct, discerning reader, and I've gone back to fix the line, which should read, “You see, I just don’t get that...etc, etc. I've been having problems with LJ changing my fonts and rearranging my spacing - I've even watched it happen when I hit the Save Entry button! How I can copy and paste the whole chapter and have a few words drop out of the middle is beyond me.

Oh well. Deep breath, blood pressure coming down now.

Yay new chapter! I love this fic! Your dialogue is so much fun, and then you have these wonderful insights into their characters....I can't wait for Part 11...

Thank you so much! I really enjoy writing the dialogue - these characters have such distinct voices, I just listen to them in my head.

OK, I hope that didn't sound TOO psychotic.

You might enjoy knowing that I spent a couple of hours last night putting together ROF clips from his episodes. I'm going to post it to my journal later tonight. Love that guy!

Ahhh...it's great.

House being his chamingly crazy and obnoxious self versus Chase being all grown up and smart-assed :D lovely.

The pager non-conversation is very much beloved.

Glad you liked the pager conversation. It's just something House would do, IMO. He's gonna have to talk to Chase face-to-face next chapter, though (and it's in the works).

Wilson slumped in his seat and rubbed his temples. “He went there, brought it back, and passed it around. I can’t take this much longer. I will have to kill him soon and then none of it will matter.”
