OK, this is in response to the season finale, which made me clutch my head in great pain.

I could have forgiven TPTB for firing Chase, figuring it wouldn't be permanent anyway. If these guys let Jesse Spencer get away, the word 'morons' won't begin to describe it. BUT - where did that scene come from? What was House thinking? Hell, what was Cameron ( Read more... )

This is freaking awesome! I love the thought processes and you show everything you want your audience to see in these guys so well. You also put a totally new spin on things and wow...just wow.

Oh, and can I just say as your first commenter on your first fanfic, I am truly honored. I love this so much.

And if you're making 50/hr I'm in the wrong kind of writing field. ;)

I'm only looking at making 20-25 grand/year at this point. So yeah, if you can pull in that much and still write totally cool fanfic, you've just become my new hero. LOL

Thank you so much! Glad it works for you. I have this conception in my head of HouseWorld, and I'm never sure how much of it would make sense to anyone else. If nothing else, I figured this writing exercise would exorcise my bad vibes from the finale.

Yeah, I get $50/hr IF someone wants to pay for my expertise. Otherwise I have a day job. Trust me, I don't make $2000 per week 8-D

I should have read this sooner!

I really liked you rationalizing Chase's firing as not being the end at PPTH (and him not ending up without a job as an Intensivist) because no one, not even House, can just fire someone and be done with it. I really hope the writers at least mention this fact in the future (if they don't then they're just stupid).

This really good! It would have been awesome even as a gen (if this chapter was a one-shot) but House/Chase? Multiple chapters? Even better ^_^

Thank you for the compliments. This is indeed an ongoing saga, which will undoubtedly be rendered AU before I resolve anything, but what the heck.

I'm keeping it PG while I'm working within the show canon, but the story is heading in a different direction, heh heh. My Chase will definitely have a few things to say to his former boss before House can move forward with his impure schemes.
