I am queen of starting fights and pushing people away. Go me.

Uh-oh. I've been on the other end of that. If we mixed the two of us, we'd get a perfect mix of pushing-pulling. *hugs* Something happen with the two of you? I was just thinking of you and Andy, yesterday...

Why is it that we, and I'm saying we because we seem to be a lot alike, are one or the other. We're one extreme or we're the other extreme. There is no in between. Like with relationships....I either seem to be out to sabatoge it for some reason and pick fights or either I pick fights to see just how serious they are and if they put up with it then they pass whatever sick test I put them through or either I'm the most loving, passive aggressive person. Why is it there is no middle?

Nothing in particular. Just me starting little fights and pushing him away because I have no idea why. I guess I feel like this is too good to be true and there's no way he really feels the way he feels about me.

Sick I'm telling ya.

Haha. I definitely hear you - One extreme or the other all the way! I've actually never sabatoged a relationship... Mainly, I'm just avoidant and will never really approach or flirt first. And when I do manage to miraculously get into a relationship, I fall madly in love and I am terribly insecure within the relationship ( ... )

To add to the courage bit: I recently saw a TV program on which a man was talking about his wife's bravery. He said something like, "She's the biggest coward in the world! And yet, she's the most courageous, because she does it anyway!" ;)

"Courage is fear that has said its prayers." (I can't recall who said that...)
