i like crazy and random stuff that has a point (or maybe there's no point at all). that's why i love books like Catch-22 and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and movies like Garden State and Big Fish.
it explains why i'm so random person...yeah
does anyone know any good "crazy and random" book or movie that i should check out?

Suggestion: "The Stranger" by Albert Camus

I still think the Stranger is weird and depressing. It's not like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which is kinda crazy and high-on-LSD-ish. You could rent One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest movie...

I also saw the movie "Closer" recently, which is really random and weird.

I think the key to the Stranger is to look beyond the initial tone of the majority of the book...you know, the monotony, passivity, and overall detachment. To me, the key is in the end, when Meursault finally sees life and grasps true emotion in his time of tragedy. He finally realized that he had been in a state of nothingness...floating lifelessly in mere existence. The power in the book, to me, is discovering how we should not live life like the main character, as well as the salute Meursault's final epiphany in the end. I actually wrote an essay sort of about this....anyway

I saw the Cuckoo's Nest movie...the Jack Nicholson (spelling?) one right? I thought he was really good. The person who played the Chief was a powerful actor as well. Closer?....what is that about? I have heard of it...can't quite put an image/plot to the name.
See you at SPAD in like 30 minutes haha.
