I don't really think it's a good idea... considering the sales of music in the form of cd's and records is steadily declining on a yearly. serve alche with your live bands, then you would have a chance. especially in mandeville/convington where there really is almost dick to do where young adults are concerned.
uhm, well if you do what number one commenter says, then it'd be an 18 and up venue, so that wouldn't be smart because you'd make more money from an all ages kind of thing, but if you had live shows every night, that'd be awesome and I'd go every once in a while depending on who's playing
i think it's a great idea! but everything in mandeville ends up closing no matter what it is b/c people get sick of it after 2 weeks. stupid mandeville.
i would go, i would buy music if it were a band i liked and hard to find...like ceratin rarities and indie bands. there isn't much to do around here and when there is it gets to be redundant....like going to the green room and the same folk bands playing for example. it's really hard to get something like that in mandeville happening. almost any all ages place where bands can play has shut down because of community stress and local politics over the years. my friend randy is working with the owner of the sports corner to open a new place for bands to play everynight.... hope it happens. but the green room is slowly chaning their policies on rock oriented bands and come january it should be better.
