Boy, it's a good thing I was already awake with the baby. Some jerks are outside making a ton of noise. Sometimes I hate my neighborhood. It looks like some kind of fight between some teenagers...I swear one of them is carrying a baseball bat. Nice

Just out of clarity - when the cops showed up and they're all beating on the body on the ground - is that the kids beating the body, or the cops? I'm not even trying to be funny - just can't tell if it's police brutality vs. cops showing up while the kids are making pulp.

It's so strange. I read that some folks saw a comet earlier tonight, too.

This all makes me wish we had gotten that security system when the salesman came around last month. It's such a quiet neighborhood, I never would have dreamed we'd need one. I think it would make me feel better tonight, though. Especially since that backyard motion detector light keeps going on and off. I'm never going to get to sleep!
