Holy crap! Rattlers are bad enough, but Cobras?! Those things are mean, and really effective at what they do. I can't even create a decent religion or god that would protect me from handling venemous snakes.

Natural selection. Pure and simple. Aaron Swiftrunner has an excellent story about a juggler at an SCA event that decided he could get some attention by juggling a copperhead. The attention he got was medical attention. I think at that point you should have DNR tatooed on your forehead for being stupid.
