yeah, we were actually discussing in class how many words there are for that, and someone [who is applying to go to year abroad next year] was like "well, maybe they just have a lot of whores in Spain" and we're all like "ok, we now know why you want to go to year abroad..."

yeah, I know they're like a waste, but the parents wanted it [and are paying] and like since most people take them, one would be at a disadvantage not to. And it's not so much the course that annoys me, rather that some people in the class basically don't know that 2+2=4 [well, maybe they know that...], and when we're suposed to be learning new "techniques" to build on the things we already know, it sucks when the class has to spend time going over things that you're kind of already suposed to know. And also I'm a bitch, so I guess I'm therefore just easily annoyed
I don't know; it was only the first class, so I can't really make judgments yet...and it will probably help a little so whatev
