My current physical fitness limitation in running seems to be 1.5 miles. On the upside, it was due to being out of shape, and not lingering/resurfacing knee or foot issues. It was more a problem that Tony lovingly calls "butter lungs"... It's an out of shape raspy, rapid breathing... as if you have melted butter in your lungs? Also, I got a stich ( Read more... )

casual runners can eat as few or as may as they wish, but you don't *actually* do the challenge which takes away some of the fun. also, they don't track your time (shoe lace timer chips) unless you are a challenger.

is it one of those things where as long as you participate funds are raised? if so, i'd say go for it. you're getting exercise and it's a good cause.
