Ah capitalism at its very best. (Or is it worst?) Companies found out graphics cards sell well and everyone wants to develop their own to sell. Everyone wants a part of the market and a part of the competition.

Yeah, I have to agree. Especially considering I'm in the market for a new mobo, and video card, and most likely CPU since my 2.4GHz is getting on the slow side of the computer world, and add in, it makes mobo shopping harder if I have to match my existing CPU to it. I need a mobo with PCIe so I can get a good graphics card, but I need to be able to connect everything else I already have into it.

I remember when we got out first computer, there was "Ok" "Good" and "Great" computers. We got a good one, it had some of the really good stuff, but not quite enough to put it in the Great category, it did its job. Now, there is so much crap to think about when buying a computer, its insane. You almost need a degree to understand some of the shit they're trying to shovel into you @_@. I mean, socket types, chipset, bus speeds, etc. The average joe-blow doesn't know what the hell all that means lol.
