woohyun makes the best blueberry pancakes.
well, woohyun makes the best everything, in sungyeol’s opinion, and he makes the best pancakes of any variety, not just blueberry. but some mornings sungyeol will finally roll out of bed at nine past eleven to go to his part time job, and he’ll smell woohyun’s blueberry pancakes, and the smell alone almost makes him want to cry tears of joy from his stomach (even though woohyun told him flatly that it was impossible to cry from your stomach the one time he had mentioned it and made him do all the washing up).
sometimes he wonders how woohyun knows when to start making pancakes, because they’re always five-and-a-half minutes from being ready to eat when sungyeol wakes up, which gives him exactly enough time to go to the bathroom and wash his face, and sometimes even enough time to put on some clothes, if he’s feeling particularly energetic. (once he didn’t put on any clothes, at all, and spilt maple syrup on himself accidentally, and woohyun refused to lick it off even though sungyeol had asked him really seductively, and had made him go clean it off himself and put on some underwear).
sungyeol tried to help him, once. he had ended up spilling flour everywhere, and dropped (and promptly stepped on) half the blueberries before woohyun had kicked him out of their tiny kitchenette shrieking. and after woohyun was finished cleaning and making a new batch of pancakes, he had brought the plate to their living room table and proceeded to eat them all in front of sungyeol as he pleaded for a bite. (after he had finished the stack, he had brought out a second plate for sungyeol, convinced he had learnt his lesson).
