I've made a decision. No more critters. I know I've said that to myself before. I can't get anymore birds due to health reasons so once they pass on that's it for me and birds. The doctor already told me a few years ago to get rid of them and I told him no ( Read more... )

Do you still have Wolf? I was wondering how he's adjusted to your new work schedule and I realized its been awhile since you've mentioned him. I hope everything is ok.

Oh yeah I still have Wolf. He's doing ok other than his normal problems of confusion, pain, and his funny walking. I fear I won't have him much longer. He still gets around pretty good though. He adjusted fine to my new schedule. He sleeps so much anyway. I don't think he ever knows I'm gone.

When I worked nights I think my dogs actually loved it. It gave them the perfect excuse (like they needed another one) for them to stay in bed and sleep all day. Then of course they slept all night because...well...it's night. LOL.

I like all of these ideas! Haha! As someonw who has picked up and moved across country and then into Arizona with NO family there or any plans, I love the idea. I had a great life in Connecticut and family but there was no future for me there. I moved to California and then left there after 2 years because of price and the fact ferrets and gerbils are illegal there ( ... )

Yeah, I figure as long as my parents are still around I'll stay. I hate to leave them because I'm the only one that lives in town and they are getting kind of old now and have multiple health problems it seems all the time. I just don't feel like I could leave them. So this will give me the time I need to get my crap together and then one day in the future, get the heck out of here!
