Isnt it odd how we move from once "space" to another. Theres always a more happening place online. Actually, Its been so long I almost have a want to write in LJ again. How do I pick up a conversation with this long lost friend though? How are you buddy?

I find that I build up this community of people at one space that, when I finally try to say something important, I'm convinced half of them are going to start issuing advice and the other half will make me a source of gossip. Naturally, I end up posting important things in the les frequented space (these days, a private journal).
Things here are decent. I'm getting ready to move again at the end of the month, but it will be permenant this time-- at least for the rest of my degree-- and worth the stretch it's been to get my shit together. Finishing the oral defense portion of my comps on the 26th, got a paper due on the 22nd-- busy busy. Everytime I hear Buffett on the radio, I send good thoughts your way and keep promising myself I'll make it back to Myrtle to stay at the Darlington and play with Lucy-dog. Now that I'm a loose cannon again and summer is coming up, maybe we can find a way to get together and catch up on life. Writing here, I just hit the high points.
Anyway, take care and lets not be strangers anymore :)
