So my advice to your student would be to go ahead and major in harp. Take the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work your tail off and perform two recitals of serious music and be judged on it. Your choice of 'Music Performance' rather than 'Managerial Studies' will be at worst a minor inconvenience if you decide on a different career later, but

They're hot, Chief! They've got fire in their eyes, hunger in their bellies, and great big shoes on their feet!

Yeah, I know what you mean... It stinks that the audition is right when we get there. I would rather have had it sometime over the summer, rather than now when we're all frantically saying goodbye to people and packing and having a million other things on our minds. So I've been doing a lot of midnight practice sessions when I'm definitely not at my best :P Hmm... by the way, I'm not bringing my harp, so do you know if I will be able to have access to one right away?
Thats really good to know about Ann. Is she real nice? ^_^
2 days! *throws up* (in a good way)
P.S. Did you find out how much tickets are?

She's really, really, really, really, really, really to infity nice. But she also kicks ass when she needs to, so really, she's perfect.
I called about tickets and they're $32, $25, or $11 for students and that depends on where we want to sit. They don't go on sale until the day after labor day, so that's cool. Um, I was personally thinking about the $25 since sometimes student tickets can suck.
And it's funny, because for me, it's really tomorrow. I drop off my harp and have a lesson and then I come home and have a family thing, and then I leave early saturday morning. *scream!*
