[Fic] Drive

Sooo... long time no fic! ^^;; Idk why but I've had a tough time writing recently. But I also got into Formula 1 last year, so I decided to do a little AU based around that. XD It started as a few drabbles... and of course, as always happens with me, it got out of hand. XD So here is nearly 11000 words of racing driver AU. Enjoy!

Ah, Koichi. No Johnny's related F1 AU would be complete without you. XD

I love that you gave Subaru and Yasu a long-distance relationship. What with Subaru having his band and Yasu having to be in a different country every few weeks. You completely made it work. And Baru's slow burn of wanting to be there to see Yasu race and understand the sport was so believable. The crash made me worry, but I knew you wouldn't hurt Yasu or do that to Baru. ;D

Eeee, Jonny Wakely! XD Going to pretend Jonny is short for Jonathan and that he's my brother. Yes. ;3

Phew, I'm really glad you liked it - I was a bit nervous about you reading it cos I fudged the actual race scenes just to make my life easier and I knew most people wouldn't know any better XD So I'm really happy you enjoyed!

I LOVE IT! I dunno much about racing but I love every bit of it!
I dunno if I already said this before, but I don't really read fanfics about real people, only animes! But I must say that yasuba fanfics are the only ones that I could ever read! And yours are my most favorites <333

I read this on my phone while going home earlier and LORD, MY EYES HURT LOL. XD

It was a lovely story!! I liked the long-distance relationship and also how Subaru starts feeling kind of bad because he didn't really pay much attention to the things Yasu was so passionate about, while Yasu seemed to keep track of everything Subaru was doing even though there was a lot on his mind already. I'm glad Subaru ended up understanding how important the races were to Yasu and how he made an effort to become part of that.

The accident part had me all shaken, omg. I'm glad nothing serious happened! And I loved the ending, their decision and all, it was really sweet - specially seeing that Subaru seems to be okay with the possibility of leaving his life in Japan behind to stay with Yasu.

Ugh, my English is broken, I'm sleepy. Anyway, thanks a lot for writing :)
