I think Alexander McCall Smith explains the difference between handsome men and beautiful men in The Sunday Philosophy Club, but I can't find the quote. It's something to do with intelligence, and cheekbones.

Bristol is like a mini London. With more trees. All the cool people live in Bristol.

Tea and 'bollocks!' and 'oh, I'm terribly sorry'. What can I say? I really am quite patriotic.

Boiled Potatoes
This was just a shameless ploy to get potatoes on here, really. But boiled potatoes do have their merits, especially when you eat them cold with salad cream.

Went to this not-so-new cafe today, because Mark decided starbucks was too commercial. Asked the guy what smoothies they did and he said:
'umm, let me think what fruit we've got...pineapple...peach, strawberry, banana..umm..we've got oranges, I supposed that would work?'
Haha. I had pineapple, it was really good, I think I'll go there more often (well, you know, in comparison to not at all. Obviously I don't have enough money to go anywhere 'often'). It's always amazing how different real pineapple tastes to the tinned kind. It's got more of a kick ;)
I feel like I'm waiting for something. I wonder what it is?
