I realised today that you can't ride bikes while wearing a skirt, at least not when it's a floaty summer skirt and there's a breeze. The bloody thing kept riding up, so I had to go the whole journey standing up. I keep writing things and then deleting them. You know all the things characters think about in novels, that you would never actually admit yourself, but are what makes the person in the novel so real and what makes the story so interesting?
