Ya know how when we're all young, we really wish we could get our families off our backs and get some time to be independent? I had mine, I'm done now, thanks. holidays SUCK for bringing up the lonely feelings. I've been there, where you are. thing is- distance and time can make family and memories different. I've got a nutty-ass family and I would miss them thinking I was missing a loving supporting group. In actuality, that love and support has always been strongest from my/our friends. Growing up means appreciating what you have in front of you and letting go of regrets. Not that that is easy in the slightest.
