He he! Heppie is good with the sneaky rope help, although she claims not to be pulling me up with the rope! Do a few climbs with Will (or me) next time, there is a WORLD of difference. Amazing how much better I climb with Heppie below me ;)

You definately climbed a 6A. Heppie said you had been up three 5Cs and a 6A in your first few. Think you may have done more than one - didn't you do the purple 6A and the orange 6A on the inside small wall? The feature line is a b**ch. Supposedly a 5C but I don't think so really. I made it look impossibly hard last night too. Will on the other hand, put me to shame. Damn that boy stealing my zone ;)

I remember one 6A that you went up straight after me.. I think that might have been orangey-black (Or maybe even purple), but couldn't swear to it.

The next trickiest climb I remember (Feature line doesn't count.. I'm blaming extreme weakness on my part, and will have my revenge on it at some point) was one of the routes that went over ther big round feature, pretty much straight in front of you after you go through the archway, but that was a 5c. That doesn't mean to say there wasn't any more 6a's.. but you often find climbs that you find easier or harder than whoever set it.

I didn't do any 6A's the orange & black was a 5C. But the purple 6A I think you did do.

That 5C with the feature is awful - I actually hate all the ones that use those features, they are so much worse than the other climbs for some reason!

That's a possibility.. I can't remember the colour of the one that really hurt, I just remembered you and Will using that rope next. I just assumed you were both going up the same one.

Heppie said the reason the climbs involving that feature are so tricky, is that the theory goes, you've got a nice comfy sit down 1/2 way up, so the rest of the climb should be a grade or so higher.

Worse thing is.. it's not as if there's much of that big feature to grip on to

I have a small blood vessel in one of my knees that pops every-so-often, generally if I manage to put too much pressure on it. It results in a very large bruise that can last quite a while - maybe something like that happened?

Yeah I'll go for one of them.. sounds much better than any other likely scenario! How loud and unpleasent sounding is your pop?
