There are people we cannot shun. We cannot simply tell them to fuck off. Some of these people can be family members or close friends. It would be nice in a perfect world we've created.
Because of this, there are several options left to us:
1. What can I do to dismiss them from my internal world? 2. How can I help myself deal with their dreaded energy?
Yeah, you're insecure, but it's not your job to wonder if you're insecure, it's other people's job to point it out in you, you're supposed to think that what you do is right by virtue of it being your doing, and then when someone tells you that you're a jerk, you should be like, "wow, I am such an asshole." and then change.

That is precisely what I mean. I do not want to exclude them completely, but I do not want them to be part of my internal life.
And in order to do so you just need to realize that you always have a choice. And you choose to let someone in or not.
It is that simple.

I don't have to wear a bulletproof vest around them, but I don't have to let them in either.
