Here's one of my favorite quotes by him (from memory, so it could be slightly off):
"Most people can't think. Of those few who can, most don't. Of those few who can and do, most can't do it very well. The rare person who can and does think, and does it well, is the person that move the world."
Oh, and your "industry wags" are wrong. Vision and focus are often antithetical. Vision is the ability to hold lots of disparate bits of info, combine them with current trends and status, and project a possible future. Focus is concentration on one thing in the present.
You can have vision and focus, tho, and good leaders often do.
