Graduate school

So I think I may be converging on something folks, in relation to my graduate school "ambitions." The ultimate goal would be to do something along the lines of applied mathematics and computational science & engineering. I'm finding my interests lay most fundamentally with how things compute - alternative computer architectures, biocomputation, ( Read more... )

Having just met you, I'm guessing, but my guess is that you will need a PhD in order to have the kind of career that you want to have (people giving you money to research amazingly cool stuff).

This is a decision to make asap. In my case, I waited a while before deciding on a PhD, and I've always felt a few years behind because of it.
