I had to go to the doctor today to have my annual Pap smear. No entertaining stories this time, kids. It hurt. A lot. Something did not go right, and there was much pain and even blood.

When I told Aaron this story, he said, "Eeew."

His inability to express any sort of concern or sympathy pissed me off, but I didn't want to start a fight about it.

I know how scary the unexpected "hmmm, well, that's not right" thing is during an exam. Feel better, try not to worry, and kick Aaron the next time you see him. Hard. Really hard.

seriously, don't hate the guy for that. he's male, for crying out loud. he doesn't know anything about pap-smears and ob-gyns, nor does he want to. give him a break. he doesn't understand the kind of pain you felt. and he never will, so give it up.
