i'm wondering why these people are still in america?

"The only way we can defeat you is to kill as many as possible! I'd rather die a suicide bomber's death than to call myself an American!"

like ive always said, if u dont like it here, get the fuck out, france will gladly accept u.

just a logistical question that has always bugged me about the "love it or leave it" attitude. What gives anyone (or group) any more claim to America than anyone else? For example, if the republicans were so unhappy during the Clinton years, why didn't they leave?

FYI, I've heard several accounts of the incident from many diverse sources, and I've not heard one person with the recount found on WND.

well i would have to say that ur school paper might be a bit biased. after all, u do go to sfsu. and for ur information it was just an article i found, and no matter the account, i think its fucked for people to threaten and belittle other "groups", when they are assembling peaceably. that kinda shit is outta date.

for example, there were some ok things about clinton. i thought the man was a scum bag, but i didnt leave and i couldve. im not talking about the people who are momentarily dissatisfied.

all im fuckin saying is, dont live in america and be ashamed to be an american. and i never said anyone one group had more claim than another. i dont think that thats anyones view. im sorry u feel that the "love it or leave it" attitude leads u to believe that us white men own the country. how can u hate the country u live in, everyone has a choice whether they want to be here or not. and when someone threatens to blow me up with a fucking bomb, i say peace the fuck out. why are u here and why did u come here if u hate it? thats a logical

I'm not trying to be confrontational about it, I just never understood the attitude that all Americans had to act a certain way or think certain things in order to live here. Because I always thought of that as facism.

And you're completely right, I don't believe violence against those who peaceably assemble is valid or in anyway justified no matter who the violence is pointed towards.

But what the WND article leaves out is that the College Republicans, rather distastefully vandalized school, ie; public property, with Bush paraphanalia sometime during the night, or early morning. There are still some "W" stickers hanging around the light posts. This, was clearly meant to aggrevate the rest of the student population.

But believe me, not all liberals "hate America." Thats a gross misperception and skewing of my, and many other people's views. Maybe that one individual does, but she is not in the majority of liberal thinkers.

fyi, the President of SFSU posted the following message, with, what seems to me, like a more factual account of the events of the 1st and 3rd.
