I read your journal all the time.. and your updates are always interesting with stories from hollywood and the big L.A scene (im from Australia, so we only see this stuff on the movies) Although i have been there, ive always wanted to experience what you have done. Taken the risk and see how it goes.
By the looks of things, things went great for you.. It seems though you were only there for a short time and now you've chosen to go back to Indiana.
Hope everything works out the way you hope for.. and good luck!

While you comment that your bravest move was to pick up and move to California, I disagree. It was brave, that is certain.
What's all the more brave is what you're doing now. When most people are faced with pain, they take to the road in hopes of escaping the issues they're up against. You, on the other hand, are leaving a place filled with people and things that you love, to confront the problems head-on. What you are doing is inspirational, and your friends and family are lucky to have you.

I salute your courage. You will learn and change and grow from your time spent back in Indiana, and utlimately it may prove the best for your long term well-being. As the saying goes: Go faster by going slow. All the best.
