So i read in the paper yesterday that the Rangers (yes, hockey) were gonna be giving away vouchers for 2 free tickets to the first thousand fans that showed up at Madison Square Garden today (starting at noon). They also said that there'd be people signing autographs and stuff, so i was all like "hey, that sounds like something to do" and I decided

And thank god for its graceful return. Jonathan and I are just as excited, dude you kicked ass in going to the Garden and getting all that shit. Was it packed or did like no one even realize it was in the paper? The new rules should be an interesting thing to see in action - viva la puck.

It actually got pretty packed after I got there. I'm lucky I went early because I was able to get in with the first group of people, and not too long after that, the players got up from the autograph tables. I guess once all the tickets were gone and whatnot, they just walked around greeting the rest of the fans for a while and left.

Believe it? I expected it. Jonathan and I are pre-emptively planning on buying. The moment they go on sale... we might even go to a few. I'll never take hockey for granted again.
