first post of the new year
so it's been a while and i apologize. first, my life was kinda uneventful, then i went home where there is no internet, then i came back to sf but didnt have my laptop, and finally, ive just been sick/lazy.

re scurvvy, did you know that a grad student at MIT got it recently? he was holed up in his apartment eating nothing but ramen (and I mean the baddd kind), and bam, scurvv-o. Which is funny because the last time people got scurvvy humanity didn't yet know about dried fruit.
