[Slugger, who is used to adorable pink animals that speak, is not particularly surprised that the pony is using the telephone but rather he's curious as to why it chose to do so in his house.

Instead of saying 'hello' like a normal person--which he most certainly is not--he climbs onto the nearest chair, arms folded upon the headrest, and watches her babble endlessly on the phone.]

[Disappointed by the lack of response thus far, Pinkie hangs up the phone, turns, and spots him.]

He suddenly fades into a shadow and disappears before her very eyes. He's gone to check the backyard and, yep, right under the tree there now stands a doghouse. Within seconds, Slugger returns, this time standing behind the pony, who is supposedly their new "pet"?]

[She's still standing gawking at the place he disappeared when he fades back.]

[It's at that moment, he spots a new photograph on the mantel---he and Luke playing frisbee with their "pet-they've-always-had". How humiliating. He quickly slides sideways to stand in front of it, hopefully before she catches a glimpse of it.]
