According to a Pentagon report released by th Task Force on Mental Health Friday, "The military health system lacks the fiscal resources and the fully trained personnel to fulfill its mission to support psychological health in peacetime or fulfill the enhanced requirements imposed during times of conflict".

reading the quote you posted alone combined with my encounters through work, I have this to say: "no shit"... sorry if this comes across as crass, but the stigma against the mentally ill is the bane of my existane 9 out of 10 days at work. This goes for civilians as well as vets ( ... )

What do you do at work exactly? I think you've mentioned it on your blog a few times but I forget.

I manage money for people on SSI, SSD, and VA benefits as well as play social worker and advocate for them attempting to get them proper medical health care, housing, etc.
