How's everyone doing?

Yes, I am just here to plug the book I helped write. Seriously, I helped write it.

Sadly, so far the sales have been really low. You're all geniuses; how do I sell the book? It's a good book!!!

At that price, I probably wouldn't take a flyer. $6-7 is a better price point for me for things from an author I'm not already familiar with.

Most people I know who want to get stuff out these days put their novels out in ebook form on Amazon for about $3. At that price, I'm willing to take a flyer. They also try to have other books in the series ready to go in fairly rapid succession. I'm reading two of those series currently.

In any case, marketing is a bitch.

The kindle version is out in November. Maybe October.

If you would like to read the first four chapters for free, they are here:

The ebook will be out soon. It will cost $4.99.

And Mark is not correct...the book is doing quite well for a small press novel that is no officially released, has as of yet had no distribution or notice, and has only been out two weeks. ;-)

The paperback is actually in stock. It has to be listed as released in November for some ridiculous reason to do with reviews and garbage. If you order the book it will ship in a day or two. Promise!

Mark,

When you post the link to the book, you can also post the link to the first four chapters for free....then people can see if they like it. (There's a link to buy at the bottom of the excerpt, too.)

This all begs the question, _how_ did you help write it? (Librarians need to know)

Much of it is based on my writing with some excerpts which are directly taken.

Mark is responsible for the overarching plot (not every specific event, but the many specific events and the overarching motion of the plot,) for the character concept and design of most of the secondary characters, and for a bit of the actual dialogue. (Some later volumes will have a lot more dialogue written by Mark. )
