Sorry did not mean to laugh, but I dont think one can rid beggars of any place.

Reminds me of this beggar scene in a telugu movie called Pokiri. First scene, where Brahmanandam shoos away the beggar (Actor Ali here) and Ali tries to beg from him.

In the next scene, it shows how beggars take revenge on Brahmanandam cause he had insulted beggars.

Very clearly even though it is a satirical humor, the second scene shows that even the cops cannot help Brahmanandam against beggars.

I do hope Diskhit does not become Brahmanandam in the scene. :)

I do agree with you.

I remember one play done by my btech batchmates "sab bhikari hai"
it portrayed various professions other than begging where people beg like politicians beg for votes, corporates for licenses etc. in their own manner.

if we go by this definition, one can never eradicate begging :D w/o completely doing away with people
