It's my last few hours with my long hair.  I'm going to miss it when I get it whacked off tomorrow.  Sniff.

I'm finally wearing matching shoes!  Gone is the not so lovely post-op boot that allowed my poor, naked left toes to freeze in the rain while the others on the right stayed snug in their sneaker.  Hopefully I will be cleared to  return to ballet class even if it is only to do barre work.

Well, it has been exactly one week since i broke my left big toe in ballet class.  I was attempting a new move and somehow ended up tripping myself in midair.  Sometimes there is a little miscommunication between my brain and my feet.  I'm sure it was spectacular to watch though, since my middle name is 'Grace.'  Um, that was sarcasm.  Anyway, of ( Read more... )

I went to the Columbia Classical Ballet's Cabaret Night with my mother tonight and enjoyed it immensely.  Conversation, hor d'oeuvres, and wine all added to the ambiance.  I was quite cute in my white and brown floral baby-doll dress with my crocheted wedges and plunging neckline.  The girls were even nicely displayed with a little help from Vickie ( Read more... )

I have now become obsessed with Bones.  I have watched 18 episodes of the first season in the past two weeks.  In watching two and three at a time, I have noticed that they use some of the same "traveling in DC" shots in a couple of episodes.  There is one shot of Booth's SUV turning left in an intersection.  Why do I notice weird stuff like this, ( Read more... )
