So far, so good. They started about 7:15 am and had the old shingles off by about 9:30, and were removing the rotted wood and cutting new boards to fit by 10:30. My guess is they'll be done by 2:00 or 3:00 this afternoon.
One thing I did notice is the roof above the sunroom had a few boards that had completely rotted away underneath the shingles. We had had a problem with water leaking into the room (it destroyed a carpet in there as well as damaging some furniture), but when we call the insurance folks out, they maintained it was from standing water coming in and not from a leak in the roof. No, I don't know weither they're right about that or not, but seeing the extent of the rot made me think that they might just be wrong.
