Actually that phantom limb thing is real...my grandpa who lost his hands is always complaining about his pinky itching. I don't think it has anything to do with the actual amputated part though. Crazy.

yeah, I don't think they can literally feel the amputated limb, they just retain the sensation that it's still attached to their body. :P
