I may have said this before as well, but this is the first time I get the feeling that being a Death Eater could have been perceived as a good thing once. In the books, it´s difficult to understand why anyone would ever think of joining Voldemort except at wandpoint. But then, your Voldemort is a lot more interesting than the one in the books (especially Book 7!!!!). He´s still that vain guy who is obsessed with fancy titles, black robes and bombastic appearances -to keep him in character-, but he´s awfully better at what he does and MUCH more of a people person. Which is kind of a requisite if you are supposed to have been gathering hordes of followers.
