I won't be posting a chapter this month because I'm writing a rapid rough draft of the remainder of the story. I'm very close to the end--I've done six chapters and will get approximately 20,000 words written by the end of the month. That's brought me pretty much to the end of the werewolf prank timeline.
That aside, I have to say this is a perfectly rotten time of year for a writing marathon. I've had to repair a wall after plumbing work and am still working on getting the house and garden ready for winter--painting, storm windows and doors, yard cleanup, etc. And now here comes Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I always feel goaded into working when I get close to the end of a big project, though. I just want to get it done.
