Ahem.

So . . .

. . . Disney's 'Tinker Bell' movie, an origins prequel to 'Peter Pan'?

It's actually good.  Good script, decent computer animation (a bit cutesy, but this is, after all, for young kids), pretty, celtic-inspired score, great voice casting (Angelica Huston and America Ferrera, among others) . . . and the icing is Loreena McKennitt ( Read more... )

Ooh, me too!!

The animation for the Barbie movies is a bit creepy, and the women always look like their matchstick thin ankles are going to crack in two (even under the weight of what looks to be an 70 lb adult), but the scripts are decent, and they do a fine job of retelling the classic fairy tales. If you liked that one, you might also enjoy The Princess and the Pauper, from the same series. It's a musical, with some decent songs!
