I checked the discussion of the recent NCIS episode on no-tiva and that was the last straw for my love of NCIS. Now I believe the death of Ianto in Torchwood was a better thing: at least he died in his boss/lover's arms with dignity. I can't keep watching those writers kill the Gibbs I knew for 5 years like this. To let a murderer go? No, just no!
It's so freaking sad. For 4 or 5 years, I promoted NCIS like mad, telling all my friends to go and watch this old-fashioned cop show. Now even in China it becomes more popular, but where is show I fell in love 5 years ago? It's just sad.
Oh btw, I still have to thank you for your hard work to fight on the CBS forum voicing the opinion of no-Tiva fans. The TVG article about the couple fans want to split and the recent reports about "wanting to please both camps" makes me believe our opinion has been heard.
I was shocked by the ending of that episode. I am not going to condemn the entire show based on that though until I'm sure that it isn't part of some kind of long con that gibbs and Vance are doing in order to bring down the drugs cartel. However, if it IS as stands then they are basically ruining Gibbs's character, the same way they ruined Ziva's at the end of last season and as he's GIBBS, and the centre of the show, that will be a shark jumping moment for me

I might need to watch that episode again to figure out what the writers plan to do with Gibbs. I was thinking alone the same line: might be something relevent to this season's storyline, some sort of intended plan, either about the lawyer lady or bring down the drug cartel. Those writers have pulled off some really risky storylines before. For instance, I hated Vance when he first appeared but then after a couple of episodes, I thought he was OK. I agree, hard to tell if it was those writers tricking us again or they actually want to ruin Gibbs. Considering the fallout rumour between MH and SB, I wouldn't be surprised if they planed to get rid of Gibbs (though it seems unlikely right now since MH stayed while SB went to NCIS:LA) or make him less heroic
