do you think that someday, we'll all be swept up, have metal shoes nailed to our feet, and a saddle slapped on our backs? I hope not-because I'm horrible at trotting.. it looks like i have a load of shit in my pants walking down the street if i try and trot. but I think i could easily be trained to count by hitting the ground with my hands or feet.

I strongly dislike horses. I think they are ugly submissive beasts. They're big and strong, and yet they allow silly weak little creatures like humans to tie them up and trot them around, or make them pull excessive amounts of weight with no benefit to themselves. If, someday, we are all swept up, and have metal shoes nailed to our feet, it will surely be by pigeons.
Something else that bugs me almost as much as horses: the colors of the flag. They just don't look good together. Red and Blue!?!! I think the forefathers were either color blind, or they thought it would be funny if they picked colors that people would wear together for hundreds of years and look like complete fools. The forefathers really knew how to thwart fashion. They also had really nice cursive.

I think the colors of the flag should be brown and light blue myself.. but alas.. red, white, and blue it is.
maybe that was the only colored cloth that lady who first sewed together the flag had. Then again colorblindness, sarcastic intent, or maybe the fact that we were trying to copy France with all that freedom and revolution stuff had something to do with it.
i probably wouldn't mind being the trust steed of a pigeon.. as long as it braided my hair and gave me sugar cubes.
